Minister for Home Affairs Shakti Bahadur Basnet has expressed the government’s readiness to establish emergency centre at district-level to rescue the flood survivors. Minister Basnet, who arrived district headquarters, Manma, this morning to take stock the situation of flood survivors in Kalikot, informed the public that the government decided to arrange emergency materials with the setup of an emergency centre. He also pledged to provide relief of Rs 5,000 along with two bundles of zinc corrugated sheets to the flood survivors of Kalikot.
